As a Technical Program Manager and Structuring Analyst, you will lead multi-disciplinary projects, manage cross-functional collaborations, and provide structuring expertise to support Google's global data center energy portfolio, focusing on clean energy objectives.
Work cross-functionally to identify new structuring opportunities, while incorporating a comprehensive view of the portfolio
Guide negotiators to identify, structure, and price non-standard agreements
Create analysis to support portfolio management transactions, evaluate investment opportunities and assist in the discussion of transaction provisions and structuring
Assess and translate competition, industry trends, emerging issues, and changes in the marketplace into structuring strategies
Develop innovative solutions that improve the way the portfolio is managed while achieving portfolio objectives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
2 years of experience in program management
Experience in quantitative modeling within the energy industry, portfolio management, risk management, and valuation analysis, or structuring wholesale energy market business agreements, including retail energy supply, power purchase agreements (PPAs), and investments
Experience in Python programming and building quantitative models that leverage SQL based queries to convert data into business insights
Preferred
2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects
Experience with wholesale electricity markets and structuring in multiple regions
Understanding of applied and financial mathematics concepts and techniques (including statistical techniques, option pricing and monte carlo simulation techniques), with experience performing quantitative analysis
Excellent cross-functional collaboration, with the ability to coordinate with both energy experts and non-experts
