Google is a leading technology company, and they are seeking a TV Partner Engineer for YouTube. In this role, you will improve YouTube's technical integrations and workflows with media companies, enabling crucial processes and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive partner success.
Identify, drive, and optimize various operational TV workflows and tools —internally and with the partners— to maximize partners’ success on the platform. Represent the industry’s needs to the Product and Engineering teams
Improve operations by developing automation scripts and dashboards. Improve product feature offerings and self-service tools by collaborating with internal cross-functional teams, including Product Management and Engineering
Guarantee the technical aspects of a partner’s integration (both new and ongoing) by providing necessary documentation and technical guidance either directly or through scaled teams
Support our media company partners through technical troubleshooting, influencing, GTM adoption, and internal cross-functional collaboration. Capture trends across partners, advocate their needs internally, and create repeatable processes that can be scaled
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Experience working with client-side web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP)
Experience coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python)
Experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers
Preferred
Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field
Experience in an analytical role such as business intelligence, data analytics, or statistics
Experience working with database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL)
Experience with cloud technologies such as architecting, developing, or maintaining cloud solutions in virtualized environments or cloud data engineering
Experience working with systems (e.g., Linux, Unix, Windows)
