Stepan Company is hiring an Account Executive for its Specialty Polyols team in North America. The role focuses on profitable growth of the company’s polymer business in the CASE and Powder Resins markets by developing customer sales strategies, building customer relationships, and executing sales against company objectives.

Responsibilities

Sell Stepan products to both established customers and new prospects to deliver or exceed budgeted growth targets
Develop and implement a sales strategy for all customers
Negotiate new contracts
Identify attractive opportunities for Stepan and then develop and coordinate programs to convert these opportunities to new business
Fulfill administrative responsibilities including accurate pricing, opportunity management and reporting of customer engagements
Facilitate resolution to supply and delivery issues, when necessary
Conduct appropriate customer follow-ups
Solve customer problems

Qualification

Required

At least 1 year of experience in-depth product, application, and market knowledge
Excellent verbal and written communications along with strong interpersonal skills are required
Outstanding problem solving and organizational skills
Possess a high level of motivation, drive and initiative
Bachelor's degree required
