The Retail Channel Account Manager will be responsible for driving sales of RIDGID branded products through retail partners, analyzing data, and collaborating with field teams to enhance in-store execution.
Work hand-in-hand with the Director of Sales for Home Depot to align on strategy, provide best in class customer support, and ultimately drive sales
Partner directly with Home Depot's merchant team to support business needs and ensure strong working relationships
Produce weekly and quarterly sales reports, using data supplied by the channel partner to keep the broader organization up to date with recent sales trends
Conduct ad hoc sales analysis, digging into regional and store level detail, using advanced techniques to help the sales team better understand drivers impacting the business
Collaborate frequently with regional managers, as well as channel partners, to ensure that all products are appropriately merchandised, projects and promotions are solidly implemented
Maintain an outstanding knowledge base of the product line and all competitor products in the marketplace, with a continuous effort to improve that knowledge and keep up-to-date
Develop presentations, support and participate in key business unit and corporate meetings as needed
Arrange delivery of promotional items to Home Depot’s Innovation Center and confirm that promotional displays are properly merchandised
Qualification
Required
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Statistics, or other related field with 2+ years’ proven experience
Strong organizational and business communication skills (both verbal and written), and general presentation skills
Highly motivated, self-starter with good time management habits, capable of driving toward goals for multiple projects simultaneously
Detail oriented with high-quality work standards
Dependable and punctual with a keen ability to perform in a fast-paced, changing environment
Energetic and enthusiastic, exhibiting a positive and responsive demeanor to get results
Analytical, problem solver with the ability to develop creative, constructive ideas and solutions, passionate about the customer

Preferred
