They are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant I to develop foundational accounting skills within a fast-paced environment, handling transactional accounting tasks and supporting financial processes.
Prepare artist wire packets for approval through DocuSign, ensuring accuracy and completeness
Assist the manager with account reconciliations and respond to ad hoc financial requests
Create event accounting flashes and perform reconciliations to ensure data integrity
Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and company policies, including Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
Assist with special projects and process improvements as assigned by management
Maintain organized financial records and documentation for audit purposes
Support the finance team in daily transactional activities and reporting
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
0-3 years of relevant work experience in accounting or finance
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent organizational and communication abilities
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
Knowledge of accounting principles and familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance is a plus
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
