Prudential Financial is a leading financial services institution seeking an Accounting Associate to support the Cash & Financial Control Teams. The role involves completing daily wire input, handling reconciliations, and participating in accounting projects while maintaining accurate records.
Complete various cash activities, and suspense functions.
General Ledger voucher preparation & wire support.
Maintain records to ensure completeness and accuracy in support of the Annuities & Life businesses.
Participate in accounting projects
Communication with business areas at all levels
The team follows EST time zone & has daily rotations until 5:10
Qualification
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
0-2 years of accounting experience with a solid understanding of accounting
Organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong collaboration and partnering skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and multi-task
Requires an analytical, organized, self-motivated, driven individual
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment.
Microsoft Excel skills
