Responsibilities

  • Lead the end‑to‑end development of proposals for automation services, including preventive/predictive maintenance solutions, managed services, and digital/automation service offerings
  • Translate customer RFQs, specifications, and requirements into clear solution architectures and proposal content
  • Develop pricing structures, cost models, and commercial packages with input from Finance and Service Operations—consistent with company standards and customer requests
  • Ensure all proposals comply with corporate terms & conditions, service standards, and solution governance requirements
  • Coordinate reviews with technical and management teams prior to submission
  • Partner with Sales, Proposal Engineering, Technical Leads, and Business Development teams to refine deliverables and align proposals with customer needs
  • Gather inputs from subject matter experts in automation, service engineering, digitalization, and solution architecture
  • Support pricing alignment with internal groups (e.g., Managed Services, SMS, operations, supply chain) similar to collaboration patterns documented in automation service meetings
  • Develop reusable proposal templates, one‑pagers, slide decks, and service descriptions for automation offerings—ensuring consistency in branding and messaging
  • Maintain up‑to‑date libraries of proposal materials, technical descriptions, and boilerplate language
  • Create tailored executive summaries, value propositions, and solution differentiators based on customer needs and internal capabilities
  • Support Sales during customer meetings by presenting solution details, clarifying scope, and explaining pricing structures
  • Provide timely follow‑ups, revised proposals, and clarifications as requested by customers
  • Track proposal statuses, customer deadlines, and submission requirements
  • Maintain records of past proposals, success rates, competitive insights, and contractual commitments
  • Support continuous improvement of proposal workflows and internal coordination practices

Qualification

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Industrial Technology, or related discipline
  • 2+ years of experience in automation, industrial services, proposal management, or technical sales support
  • Understanding of automation systems, industrial controls, digital services, or maintenance services
  • Strong technical writing, communication, and customer‑facing skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM/CPQ tools
  • Ability to interpret RFQs, technical scopes, service agreements, and pricing models
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred

  • Experience with predictive maintenance, managed services, or digital automation offerings (aligned with programs discussed in automation service meetings)
  • Familiarity with Siemens automation or comparable platforms
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional proposal teams
  • Working knowledge of service contract structures and solution architecture
