BAE Systems is an international defense, aerospace, and security company, and they are seeking a full-time Billing Analyst to join their Electronic Systems US Defense Company Billings Organization. The role involves assisting in the preparation of invoices, developing solutions to complex billing problems, and providing support and training to billing staff.
Assist in reviewing and releasing invoices for Billers on a regular basis
Has a thorough understanding of industry billing practices and represents the Billings organization with internal and external customers as needed
Develop solutions to a variety of complex billing problems
Assist in providing audit support as necessary
Work with Billers to ensure billing with out-of-period costs are completed accurately
Active representative of the core team by bringing forward issues and concerns, innovation, and ensuring company and department standards are adhered to
Assist in supporting Billers by training, answering questions, and enhancing their understanding of the billing process
Cross train in all analyst responsibilities and provide back up support as necessary
Assist department management in adhoc requests as they arise
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma and four (4) years of work experience or Bachelor's Degree and two (2) years of work experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Prior billing experience
The ability to multi-task in a fast paced and time sensitive environment
The ability to work independently
Preferred
Experience in Oracle ERP is highly preferred
