CHAiNGERS - Operations & Supply Chain Trainee Program

Henkel is offering an 18-month Adhesive Operations & Supply Chain Global CHAiNGERS Program for early-career engineering graduates. The trainee will gain cross-functional manufacturing and supply chain experience, lead improvement projects, develop technical and leadership capabilities, and prepare for future roles across the operations and supply chain organization.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong manufacturing and technical knowledge through hands-on exposure to plant operations, processes, technology, and shopfloor culture
  • Gain broad experience across the site, working with teams such as Engineering, Operations, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Warehousing, and Safety
  • Own high-impact, cross-functional projects that improve site performance and create measurable value
  • Develop structured problem-solving capabilities and earn your Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
  • Build your leadership capabilities through tailored development experiences, mentoring, training, and networking
  • Gain visibility and coaching from subject-matter experts, plant leadership, and senior Henkel leaders
  • Build a global network with CHAiNGERS across global Henkel Adhesive Operations as well as with peers in other tracks within North America’s greater Henkel Rotational Program
  • Full engagement with the 18-month trainee program, acquiring a broad overview of the role and tasks of operations and supply chain management at Henkel Adhesive Technologies
  • Support daily activities at your designated plant, resulting in an overall understanding and appreciation for the full AO value chain – this includes introduction to different functions like strategy, digital business, and procurement to build a broad understanding of the organization
  • Own and drive multiple projects that lend to continuous improvement within your plant, allowing you to develop deep insight into the different functions of operations and supply chain
  • Engage in training and networking experiences to drive preparation for taking on potential leadership roles within our organization in the future

Qualification

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental, Industrial) with successful academic record
  • Up to 2 years of work experience, ideally within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to engage effectively with all levels of management
  • Proficient in active listening and asking insightful questions to gain deeper understanding
  • Skilled in delivering presentations and tailoring messages to meet the needs of diverse audiences
  • Effective time management and organizational skills, ensuring timely and efficient task completion
  • Problem solving and analytical thinking skills required, with ability to consistently look at complex issues from many angles, skillfully separating root causes from symptoms
  • Aptitude for continuous learning and self-development, with interest in new technologies, digitization and data analysis
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and collaboration within teams
  • Geographic mobility and openness is required
  • Participation in this program requires valid U.S. work authorization

Preferred

  • 3.0 or above is preferred
  • previous internship/co-op experience is preferred
