Infosys is a technology company that offers consulting, outsourcing, cloud infrastructure, program management, and software services. They are seeking a Citrix Specialist who will interface with key stakeholders to support the design and optimization of Citrix VDI solutions. This role requires collaboration and problem-solving skills to ensure effective implementation and support.
Support the design, implementation, and optimization of Citrix Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solutions across both persistent and non-persistent environments.
Support migration and hybrid deployment strategies between On-Prem.
Create and maintain device templates, firmware updates, and configuration policies.
Migrate users to VDI environments.
Qualification
Required
Client location is Wichita KS. Candidate can work from anywhere in USA. This position may need travel to project locations.
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
This role may involve elevated access to Impact Level 4 (IL4) data and/or security requirements for handling controlled unclassified information (CUI) and sensitive data as defined by US Department of Defense (DoD). The eligible candidates must be US Citizens only.
At least 2 years of Information Technology experience.
At least 2 years in Citrix Support Engineer roles.
Familiarity with Citrix technologies, including Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops.
Experience with scripting (PowerShell preferred) for automation and reporting.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
Support migration and hybrid deployment strategies between On-Prem.
Create and maintain device templates, firmware updates, and configuration policies.
Knowledge of virtualization technologies beyond Citrix, such as VMware or Hyper-V is good to have.
Excellent Analytical and troubleshooting skill.
Migrate users to VDI environments.
Willingness and flexibility to learn new technologies, scale up quickly and adapt to different roles as the situation demands.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
