Responsibilities

  • CLDP is a 36-month program, consisting of three, 12-month rotations
  • It is designed to provide a diverse set of experiences through challenging rotational assignments, contracts management training programs, advanced education, leadership development, and mentorship
  • Rotations correlate with major DoD program lifecycle phases, including R&D, EMD, Production and Sustainment, as well as Commercial and Contract Operations options
  • Each rotation will expose a Participant to a different business area, facility and manager, to the extent practicable
  • As part of ensuring variety in experience and cultures across our BAE Systems sites, we are emphasizing a minimum of two (2) different geographic locations during your 3 rotations
  • BAE Systems offers tuition assistance for graduate school tuition, books and application fees in support of obtaining a Master’s Degree or MBA
  • Members of the program also complete in-house training that focuses on Contracts Management and Business Acumen at BAE Systems
  • The program seeks to facilitate the growth of an individual's leadership skills and style through the various training and networking opportunities

Qualification

Required

  • * Bachelor's degree with a business related focus or liberal arts
  • * Strong leadership qualities
  • * Ability and willingness to relocate and work at various sites
  • * Superior communication skills
  • * Achievement in non-academic pursuits such as athletics, clubs and organizations, special projects, military service, and prior work experience
  • * Internship/Co-op or project experience in related field
  • * Capacity and motivation for hard work
  • * Ability to obtain a US Department of Defense security clearance
