IQVIA provides analytics, compliance, and management solutions to the life sciences industry. The Consultant - Tech role involves working closely with project leads and clients to ensure high-quality deliverables while serving as a Subject Matter Expert in various functional areas.
Serves as a core team member of one or more project areas or workstreams, focusing on client satisfaction and delivery quality.
Supports workstream leads to ensure efficient completion of quality deliverables.
Capable of learning new skills and system functionality quickly to provide value to client engagements.
Demonstrates strong core consulting skills including professionalism with clients and colleagues, consistent and transparent communication, solution development and problem-solving skills, high quality work product/deliverables.
Comfortable navigating obscurity by asking the right questions and adapting approach accordingly
On a small-to-mid scale project, supports Overall Lead, or Functional/Technical Workstream Lead (e.g., Purchase Based Contracts, Utilization Based Contracts, Master Data Management, Integrations, Test Lead, etc).
On a large-scale project, supports sub-Workstream Lead (e.g., Workstream Test Lead, Contract Modeling Lead, Cutover Lead).
Supports engagement timelines to ensure practice targets are achieved.
Provides advice and leadership to clients to deliver solutions and provide value.
Represents IQVIA positively through strong performance and professional interactions, including participation in Thought Leadership activities (expertise requests, conference attendance, writing blogs and white papers).
Supports junior team members and provides guidance and support during client engagements.
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree required
2+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical/healthcare/life sciences or consulting industry
Expertise in one or more of (but not limited to) the following: Medicaid, Master Data Management, Chargebacks, Government Pricing, Testing, Managed Care Contracting, Commercial Contracting, Integration Development, Report Development, Historical Data Conversion, Direct / Indirect Sales
Exemplary client-facing delivery skills with the ability to support workshops, identify pain points, test, troubleshoot issues and determine solutions.
Has broad knowledge of the pharmaceutical/healthcare/life sciences industry.
Works willingly and effectively with others in and across the organization to accomplish team goals.
Demonstrates strategic thinking and advanced analytical skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills including valuing the opinions of others and encouraging of knowledge sharing.
Able to self-manage and prioritize tasks and communicate progress effectively to Team Leads.
Preferred
Master's Degree (MBA) Preferred
PMP certification a plus
