The Inside New Business Development Representative is responsible for driving profitable revenue growth through the acquisition of new business by consulting with clients and aligning their communication strategies with Cision's solutions.

Responsibilities

Qualify inbound leads and assess client needs based on their communication strategy
Conduct inbound sales calls with professionalism and a consultative approach
Develop and deliver customized sales proposals and presentations to prospective clients
Maintain an organized pipeline and update CRM with detailed notes and next steps
Generate persuasive sales communication via phone, web, and email
Perform proactive follow-up to nurture leads and guide them through the buyer journey
Negotiate pricing and contract terms to successfully close new business
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless client experience
Serve as a strategic advisor and brand ambassador, educating prospects on the full value of Cision’s solutions
Identify and convert competitor accounts by offering tailored package-based solutions

Qualification

Required

Strong business acumen with the ability to understand and align with client goals
Effective multitasking and time management in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with an ability to tailor messaging to a range of stakeholders
High level of professionalism, resilience, and attention to detail
Strong relationship-building skills and customer-first mindset
Bachelor's degree required
Willingness to work flexible hours in accordance with business needs
