The Inside Sales Representative will learn and apply selling skills to build customer relationships and achieve sales goals in the clinical laboratory space, while receiving ongoing training and support from the company.
Attain or exceed assigned sales, profit, and market share goals while adhering to budgetary guidelines
Make daily outbound calls to key decision-makers across various accounts
Prospect and develop new customer relationships in the clinical laboratory space
Expand existing clinical customers' testing menus in key areas including Pharmacogenomics, infectious disease, and oncology
Develop genetic analysis market and product knowledge to deliver effective sales presentations
Communicate competitor activities, market trends, and customer directions
Implement a territory plan to grow assigned territory business
Use data sources to analyze and develop high-ROI sales opportunities
Support marketing programs and initiatives as assigned by the Sales Manager
Complete tasks and reports promptly, improving efficiency during key selling times
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, or Biochemistry with equivalent experience
A genuine passion for making the world healthier, cleaner, and safer
A goal-oriented mentality and growth mindset
A positive outlook and ability to work within cross-functional teams
Preferred
1+ year of sales experience preferred
Preferably hands-on laboratory, selling, or related experience
Advanced Degrees are a plus
