Cognizant is seeking a Junior Full Stack Engineer to develop and enhance scalable customer experience solutions. The role involves building reliable applications, translating stakeholder requirements into technical solutions, troubleshooting and optimizing software, and supporting code reviews, CI/CD, deployments, and production issue resolution.
Develop and maintain high-quality software applications that support customer experience initiatives and business objectives
Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications to improve performance, reliability, and user experience
Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and engineering best practices to ensure high-quality software delivery
Support CI/CD activities, deployment processes, and production issue resolution while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
Experience developing applications using modern programming languages and software engineering practices
Knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts, data structures, and application design principles
Experience working with source control systems, code reviews, and software development lifecycle processes
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
Preferred
Experience developing customer-facing web or enterprise applications
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and DevOps practices
Understanding of secure coding standards and application security principles
Experience working in Agile development environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams
