Junior Project Manager – PMO

This role involves assisting in project planning, coordination, and execution to drive process improvements and enhance customer experience across supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

  • Support cross-functional projects within Customer Service, Supply Planning, Demand Planning, and Logistics teams under the guidance of the PMO.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining project plans, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Track and report project progress, risks, and issues to key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, document action items, and follow up on open tasks.
  • Maintain project documentation, including charters, status updates, and KPI reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Assist in process mapping, root cause analysis, and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Support the PMO in standardizing project management practices across the supply chain organization.

Qualification

Required

  • 1–2 years of experience in project coordination or supply chain operations (internship experience acceptable).
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
  • Foundational understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Strong organizational, time management, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with project tools like Smartsheet, Asana, or MS Project is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Preferred

  • Familiarity with supply chain functions such as planning, logistics, or customer service is a plus.
  • Certification or coursework in project management (e.g., CAPM, PMP, Six Sigma) is a plus.
  • Experience supporting or working within PMO environments.
  • Exposure to ERP, WMS, eWM and other related supply chain systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JDA) is beneficial.
