Infinite Computer Solutions is seeking a motivated Junior .NET Developer to join their Healthcare IT team. The role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining healthcare applications that support patient care and clinical workflows in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and maintain web and desktop applications using Microsoft .NET technologies
  • Collaborate with senior developers, business analysts, and healthcare stakeholders to understand requirements
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following coding standards and best practices
  • Participate in application enhancements, bug fixes, and performance improvements
  • Assist in integrating healthcare systems using APIs, HL7, FHIR, and other healthcare interoperability standards
  • Develop and maintain SQL Server databases, stored procedures, and queries
  • Perform unit testing and support system testing activities
  • Participate in code reviews and technical documentation
  • Troubleshoot application issues and provide production support
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, security, and data privacy standards

Qualification

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field
  • 0-2 years of experience in software development (internship experience acceptable)
  • Knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core/.NET Framework
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks
  • Basic knowledge of SQL Server and relational database concepts
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services
  • Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred

  • Experience with ASP.NET MVC, Web API, or Blazor
  • Exposure to healthcare applications, EHR/EMR systems, HL7, or FHIR standards
  • Knowledge of Azure cloud services
  • Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, or other version control tools
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
