American Express Global Business Travel provides travel management services and organizes meetings, events, and business travel services. They are seeking a Marketing Automation Manager to support the execution and optimization of client-facing communication and engagement, while leading a team of automation specialists and collaborating with business stakeholders.
Assist and oversee the timely delivery of client facing programs designed to deliver value, generate revenue and increase engagement via marketing automation platforms.
Manage a team of marketing automation specialists, conducting weekly 1:1s, setting objectives, providing guidance, and training.
Regularly meet with strategic supplier, sales enablement, and customer marketing collaborators to discover and capture business requirements, set prioritization, and agree upon delivery timelines.
Act as a system administrator for Marketo and Salesforce Marketing Cloud platforms, setting governance, training new users, providing thought leadership and sharing standard processes. Maintain knowledge of available data, it’s source, usage, and reliability.
Guiding the implementation and usage of new platforms to the marketing tech stack, further increasing capabilities and progressing the tech roadmap.
Use Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Marketo to build, deploy and optimize campaigns listening to client accounts. Continuously monitor performance and adjust tactics to improve results.
Act as a final quality control check on all outgoing campaigns, ensuring appropriate audience, content, and functionality. Flag errors, document process fixes, and continuously improve for greater automation and tighter control.
Qualification
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
2+ years experience in B2B marketing, with a preference towards customer engagement.
Strong understanding of CRM systems, marketing automation, project management tools, preferably Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo, 6sense, and Workfront.
Ability to lead a team, providing guidance and setting prioritization.
Meticulous with experience in documenting and adapting processes.
A collaborative and communicative partner to collaborators that can bring strategic ideas to fruition.
Adaptive and responsive to the dynamic marketing landscape.
Excellent project and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple campaigns and collaborators simultaneously.
