PPG is a leading company in the paints and coatings industry, and they are seeking a National Segment Business Development Manager to drive new commercial sales opportunities and manage key accounts. This role focuses on developing sales strategies and account plans to enhance customer success and achieve business growth.
Build and execute a sales strategy targeted at commercial accounts, emphasizing revenue growth, customer retention, and value-based selling.
Develop and implement tailored account plans that leverage PPG's suite of products and value-added services to demonstrate a measurable impact on customer success and profitability.
Articulate and quantify the value of PPG's offerings to address customer needs, solve challenges, and create mutually beneficial partnerships.
Identify, pursue, negotiate, and secure new commercial accounts while expanding opportunities with existing clients.
Mentor and collaborate with sales staff to strengthen the pipeline of commercial accounts and improve closing rates on large-scale deals.
Stay ahead of market trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs to craft proactive, value-driven sales solutions and proposals.
Build and maintain an account target list, identify industry shifts/trends such as e-commerce, and adapt strategies to capitalize on these changes.
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
Minimum 2 years of commercial sales or related experience.
Experience successfully selling value and drive revenue growth within commercial sales.
Preferred
Previous experience in commercial OEM sales is preferred.
