Lockheed Martin is seeking a detail-oriented Procure to Pay (PTP) Analyst to join the Accounts Payable Banking & Controls Team. This role involves resolving AP-related issues, supporting audit activities, and improving financial processes while maintaining strong relationships with internal customers.
Work directly with internal customers to resolve AP-related issues and identify technical and reporting solutions
Support Corporate, Internal, and External audit activities
Continuously improve processes, strengthen system and process controls, and provide analysis and support to Finance and Business Operations teams
Prepare a variety of journal entries to support accurate accounting throughout the month and during month-end close
Support operational and reporting activities associated with month-end close processes
Partner with business stakeholders to document, stabilize, and transition processes into the GFS PTP Shared Services environment
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
Prior experience in Accounts Payable and/or Accounting
Proficient Microsoft Office skills with an emphasis on Excel
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks and priorities
Detail-oriented, self-motivated work style
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Quick and proactive learner with an aptitude for systems and processes
US Citizen
Preferred
Ability to identify and implement effective process improvements, including automation opportunities
Advanced Excel skills
SAP experience
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
