Procure to Pay Analyst

Lockheed Martin is seeking a detail-oriented Procure to Pay (PTP) Analyst to join the Accounts Payable Banking & Controls Team. This role involves resolving AP-related issues, supporting audit activities, and improving financial processes while maintaining strong relationships with internal customers.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with internal customers to resolve AP-related issues and identify technical and reporting solutions
  • Support Corporate, Internal, and External audit activities
  • Continuously improve processes, strengthen system and process controls, and provide analysis and support to Finance and Business Operations teams
  • Prepare a variety of journal entries to support accurate accounting throughout the month and during month-end close
  • Support operational and reporting activities associated with month-end close processes
  • Partner with business stakeholders to document, stabilize, and transition processes into the GFS PTP Shared Services environment

Qualification

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
  • Prior experience in Accounts Payable and/or Accounting
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills with an emphasis on Excel
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated work style
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Quick and proactive learner with an aptitude for systems and processes
  • US Citizen

Preferred

  • Ability to identify and implement effective process improvements, including automation opportunities
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • SAP experience
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
