They are seeking a Program Analyst to support the FAA's Eastern Service Area Technical Operations, providing customer service and managing financial transactions, budgets, and administrative functions.
Track Technical Operations Executive Staff Office correspondence for review/signature.
Manage Financial Transactions: Prepare purchase requests, ensure proper use of funding sources, and route documents for timely approval in compliance with FAA policies.
Monitor Budgets and Spending: Analyze budget execution, spending trends, and forecasts.
Support Financial Planning and Reporting: Develop financial reports, variance analyses, and budget justifications.
Handle sensitive and confidential information
Coordinate meetings and calendar obligations for Executive Staff Office.
Take meeting notes for various meetings, coordinate review, and post to shared file.
Assist with morning meetings, operational, updates and ensure coverage of daily and weekly calendar items are coordinated.
Research policy/guidance regarding procurement, travel, etc., as needed.
Process/route incoming and outgoing mail for all members of the Executive Staff Office.
Assist the Executive Staff with planning, developing, monitoring, and executing actions required to manage the organization’s administrative functions, which includes a full range of administrative areas: human resource management, security administration, management analysis, and labor relations.
Serve as the Point of Contact to provide timely maintenance/updates for the Tech Ops Knowledge Sharing Network, Org Charts, and Group emails.
Coordinate with Analyst to ensure business plan activities and performance metrics are clear, concise, and measurable and can provide basis for management action.
Assist with tracking IPI’s, award cash/hour amounts, and other occurring/recurring initiatives.
Ensure travel authorizations and time charging are complete, accurate, and approved at the end of each pay cycle.
Arrange travel, process travel authorizations, and travel vouchers as requested.
Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree from an accredited college and 2+ years of experience.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Experience with FAA or other similar government agencies.
A professional demeanor is a must.
