Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end projects including system implementations, vendor transitions, compliance upgrades, and process automation
  • Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations
  • Monitor project progress and proactively address risks, issues, and dependencies
  • Support on payroll project processes, compliance, and best practices
  • Ensure payroll systems and processes comply with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and People Solutions Experience to align payroll operations with organizational goals.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for payroll project stakeholders
  • Provide regular updates, reports, and presentations to leadership
  • Act as the primary liaison between HR, Finance, People Solutions Experience, external vendors, and other stakeholders
  • Facilitate regular project meetings, status updates, and executive reporting.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency
  • Ensure payroll processes comply with local, national, and international labor laws and tax regulations
  • Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and resolving queries
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Troubleshoot and resolve project related issues promptly

Qualification

Required

  • At least 2-3 years in a project management role is essential with a solid understanding of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of Global payroll processes and connection points to HR systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, SAP, Horizon) and familiarity with GDPR and data privacy regulations related to payroll
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and confidentiality
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration

Preferred

  • Project Management certification (PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum or equivalent)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, digital project management tools and Workday
