Proposal Analyst - Public Sector

The Proposal Analyst is responsible for supporting the administrative aspects of proposal development, including organizing documentation, coordinating workflows, and providing research and content support for multiple proposals simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Live and conduct oneself in accordance with Huron’s values
  • Managing proposal logistics and helping to establish effective digital collaboration (e.g., setting up the Teams site, organizing documentation, and providing administrative support to the proposal team)
  • Leverage AI‑enabled tools to streamline administrative tasks, conduct research, draft content, and support internal communications
  • Schedule and coordinate proposal reviews and meetings
  • Support content development by pulling templates and stock content from content management systems, including bios, past performances, client impact stories, and past proposals
  • Develop initial template for content writers, coordinate with corporate stakeholders for necessary documentation and graphics to support proposal creation
  • Effectively communicate status updates and proposal logistics to team members and stakeholders
  • Build simple tables, graphics, and process diagrams for proposals
  • Provide proposal publishing and proofreading support to ensure alignment with brand standards, formatting guidelines, and visual consistency
  • Collaborate across business units to gather proposal inputs, such as client impact stories and bios
  • Monitor sales intake mailbox and reports/dashboards following processes for taking action
  • Support ongoing organization and management of proposal content

Qualification

Required

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Deadline- and detail-oriented
  • Strong collaboration and time management skills
  • Ability to organize work effectively
  • Ability to efficiently and independently manage competing responsibilities
  • Technically proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Copilot, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and AI tools
  • Baseline understanding of applying automation in the workplace
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Current permanent US work authorization required
  • Ability to execute competently, communicate clearly, and take responsibility for work with learning agility and rapid development
  • Demonstrated proficiency in leveraging AI-enabled tools augmented by human-in-the-loop critical thinking
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic and high tolerance for ambiguity
  • Aptitude for an interest in growing business/sales writing skills; includes the ability to research and synthesize information from multiple sources
  • Ability to pivot between several proposals in a high-volume, quick-turn environment
  • Ability to deliver effective written communications that are clear and informative
  • Highly adaptable and excels at working with various teams, successfully accommodating diverse styles and needs
