Sales Development Representative

OneSpan is a cybersecurity provider in the financial services industry specializing in digital identity and anti-fraud solutions. They are looking for an experienced Sales Development Representative to generate pipeline and engage with large enterprises, working closely with Account Executives to secure meetings and develop business opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Working in partnership with your Account Executive, you are responsible for outbound prospecting and qualifying leads that will lead to multiple meetings within a large account.
  • Engaging prospects by phone, email and through social (i.e. LinkedIn)
  • Identifying and connecting with key Influencers and decision makers - up to, and including, senior level professionals.
  • As part of the strategic account plan, analyzing prospect’s pain points, capturing business needs and requirements and moving leads to meetings.
  • Acquiring and maintaining a working knowledge of key vertical industries and top use cases.
  • Develop and nurture a book of business for continued success in delivering meetings with key roles at target accounts.

Qualification

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • An entrepreneurial attitude, where being a self-starter is essential, along with determination and resourcefulness is required.
  • Experience working with an outbound target account focus
  • Experience in business development, sales, or customer service where you have had to engage at different levels across organizations
  • Organizational skills, ability to conduct research and comfortable using services such as Discover.Org, ZoomInfo, etc.
  • Coachable, team oriented and the desire to learn
  • Thrive on working in a fast-paced environment and easily pivot if needed
  • You are genuinely curious about others and a great listener.
  • Effective when working independently and in team environments.
  • You are known as a problem solver who connects challenges to the right solution and knows the right question to ask (and when to ask it).
  • You are a strong communicator who can engage easily with different types of people.
  • You are not afraid of a bit of rejection and understands that 'no' is often the beginning of a strong collaboration.
  • You are ambitious, determined, and entrepreneurial
  • You are open to feedback and are able to adapt and change with ease.

Preferred

  • B2B Experience in technology, SaaS, or similar
  • Experience selling SAAS solutions to the banking/financial services and insurance industries
  • Experience with e-signature solutions or digital agreement, workflow technologies or digital security.
  • Experience managing and qualifying leads
  • Knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM and sales automation technology for conducting outbound sequences (SalesLoft, Outreach), etc.
