The Software Developer will define, develop, validate, and automate network-management features for the Cisco Catalyst family, collaborating with product managers and cross-functional teams to deliver quality implementations on time.

Responsibilities

  • Define, develop, validate and automate the features that help the customer to manage their networks
  • Understand the functionality, how it can be presented to the customer in a meaningful and efficient manner, implement it
  • Collaborate with various teams including PM, cross functional teams and TMEs
  • Design and implement the features defined on time with quality

Qualification

Required

  • Bachelors degree or Masters degree with 1 year of experience
  • Experience in Python, Ruby on rails, or Go
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum development methodologies

Preferred

  • Exposure to network virtualization development
  • Proven passion or experience using LLMs and AI Agents to automate repetitive tasks
  • Experience building and deploying solutions using containerization tools like Kubernetes and Docker
  • Networking experience

  • U.S. employees may take 10 optional paid volunteer days per full calendar year.
  • For non-sales roles, employees are eligible to earn annual bonuses subject to Cisco’s policies.
