They are seeking a Subcontracts Specialist to support the National Security Sector's programs, proposals, and business objectives by managing the full life cycle of subcontract management activities.
Supporting proposal activities (e.g., negotiation of non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) and teaming agreements, preparation of moderate to complex solicitation packages from customer requirements, evaluation of subcontractor proposals, price analysis, negotiation of price and terms and conditions, etc.)
Identify and resolve moderately complex issues and problems on assigned subcontracts and make recommendations to management.
Qualification
Required
Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with no years of prior relevant experience.
Must be US Citizen.
Must be able to clearly articulate statuses and issues to management, internal partners, and suppliers
Preferred
Undergraduate degree preference: Supply Chain Management or Business Administration
Experience awarding and managing subcontracts in a government approved purchasing system including a basic knowledge of the requirements of the FAR and DFARS
Experience negotiating price and terms and conditions
Working experience with automated purchasing system (preferably Deltek Costpoint and iValua)
Active Security clearance preferred but not required.
