Responsibilities

  • Provide professional services such as consultation, software readiness, and education to clients on Tyler software products. Design and conduct knowledge transfer sessions on site or through remote Teams sessions
  • Educate users on software functionality as well as on data entry, system administration, user security, and user permissions
  • Perform consultation/analysis of client business model to identify and document client requirements regarding Tyler products and functionality
  • Recommend options for new approaches in client work processes as appropriate to ensure efficient software solution for the client’s needs
  • Identify and document business/technical requirement specifications for specific software design/development, forms, reports, interfaces, process, configuration, and other relevant changes
  • Independently configure system modules and workflows based on approved client requirements, ensuring alignment with implementation best practices
  • Conduct data validation and conversion analysis, including field-level reconciliation, exception handling, and coordination with clients on data correction activities
  • Develop and execute client-specific test plans, validating configuration, integrations, and reporting outputs prior to go-live
  • Troubleshoot technical and functional issues of moderate complexity, identifying root causes and collaborating with Support or Development on resolution paths
  • Create custom reports or customize existing reports to satisfy client requirements. Play an active role in troubleshooting client issues or work with the Support or Development departments to resolve
  • Keep up to date on administrative tasks such as documenting client issues, communicating agendas, submitting trip reports, timesheets, and weekly expense reports, and updating systems-related client activity
  • May assist QA staff with product testing or modification testing as required
  • Notify management and appropriate organization/department of issues or unplanned events that could impact the effectiveness/schedule/budget of the implementation
  • Create both client-facing and internal documentation such as 'quick tips' and 'how to' guides
  • Act as liaison between the client and company’s technical staff including conveying technical information so that non-technical individuals can understand
  • May participate in the annual User Conference. Facilitate user group discussion on assigned module/topic
  • Analyze detailed error logs to diagnose and resolve technical issues of moderate complexity
  • Identify and troubleshoot data issues within SQL databases
  • Review and interpret report code for applied understanding of system behavior and outputs
  • Read, update, and analyze XML and HTML to support debugging and issue resolution
  • Investigate and resolve errors across SQL, XML, and HTML environments
  • Map and validate data conversions to ensure accuracy and integrity
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify root causes of software issues
  • May travel extensively to client sites
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualification

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, or related discipline; or comparable related work experience
  • At least two years' experience as an Associate Implementation Consultant or equivalent work-related experience
  • Exceptional presentation and knowledge transfer skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity and ease with computer systems and Microsoft Office products
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience troubleshooting data-related issues
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical code, including report logic, XML, and HTML
  • Experience analyzing and debugging complex error log
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Experience with data mapping, data validation, and data conversion processes
  • Ability to translate technical findings into actionable insights
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
  • Ability to travel extensively
  • Valid driver's license

  • Tax and appraisal industry and/or product knowledge
