Responsibilities

Perform power system modelling and studies using PSS/E, PSLF, ASPEN. Types of studies include:
Power flow
Transient (dynamic) analysis
Post-transient analysis
Short circuit
Prepare scripts and programming to assist with the automation of the simulations, compilation of results, and analysis
Prepare study reports, identifying assumptions, methodology, analysis, and results
Participate in meetings with the client to initially kick off the project, review project progress and present results and recommendations
Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and clients throughout project execution

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, including courses related to power system studies and analysis
Understanding of electrical power system and power electronics theory
Proficiency in Python programming
Experience with PSS/E required
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively explain and discuss solutions with clients
Self-motivated and able to collaborate with other engineers and engineers-in-training
Experience with PSS/E and Python required
