As an Embedded Software Engineer – Level 1, you will design, develop, and maintain software and firmware components integrated with engineering and manufacturing systems, while working closely with hardware engineers and electronic technicians.
Designs, develops, operates and maintains software and firmware component and computing systems to be applied to and integrated with engineering, scientific and manufacturing requirements
Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures and tools throughout the system development life cycle to support the generation of such engineering applications and products such as various Automated Test Equipment (ATE)
Assist in the development of hardware components and embedded systems
Assist in designing ATE architecture, including selecting commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) instrumentation like oscilloscopes, digital multimeters (DMMs), and power supplies
Participate in troubleshooting hardware-software integration issues
Keep clear records of designs, test, and version controls
Write and execute unit, integration, and system level test plans
Interfaces with customers, suppliers, application users and other technical and support personnel

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (STEM) with 0 years of professional experience
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance
Proficiency in Computer programming
Proficiency with Embedded Systems
Proficiency in Software Development

Knowledge in Automated Testing
Knowledge in COTS Implementation
Knowledge of Electronic Equipment
Knowledge of Electric Circuit Analysis
