Responsibilities

Codes, tests, debugs, implements, and documents basic programs according to the specifications provided
Writes specifications for programs or enhancements to existing programs
Participates in peer reviews
Assists in creating unit and other test plans for assigned programming tasks and evaluating results
Provides technical and production support to end-users
Share with other team members the support of critical systems that might involve working some evenings or holidays

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
One plus years of programming experience
Experience working with mainframes using COBOL and/or SAS applications
Experience working with relational databases to facilitate programming software
Must be ITAR-compliant and able to provide proof of citizenship
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring current or future sponsorship
Applicants must reside in the continental United States
A background check and drug test are required

Preferred

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, finance, mathematics, or related field preferred
Experience supporting financial systems or knowledge of accounting a plus
Programming skills
Basic testing skills
Personal computer and business solutions software skills
Analytical and problem-solving skills for the design, creation, and testing of programs
Communication skills to interact with team members and support personnel
