Responsibilities

Assist in the design and development of embedded software for ADI’s ASIC products
Contribute to the creation of a new SDK and integration of IDEs to accelerate customer adoption
Help develop and release SDKs, application examples, and proof-of-concept solutions
Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design reviews and testing
Develop host-side tools for Windows and Linux environments
Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code
Create and execute test procedures and scripts
Support the development of technical documentation such as application notes, quick start guides, and user manuals

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
Solid understanding of C and/or C++ programming
Familiarity with standard compilers and IDEs (e.g., Eclipse, KEIL, Visual Studio Code). Also, experience with Windows development (i.e. DLLs)
Basic knowledge of operating systems and real-time concepts; experience with Linux as an embedded OS
Strong communication skills and a proactive, collaborative attitude

Preferred

Familiarity with device drivers and analog/comms interfaces (SPI, I2C, Ethernet)
Understanding of ARM microcontroller architecture and RISC principles
Experience with board bring-up, BSPs, and debugging embedded systems
Knowledge of networking protocols (IP, TCP/UDP, DHCP, ICMP)
Comfortable using development tools like Git, vi, gdb, etc
