The Boeing Company is seeking an Associate Software Engineer to support the Guidance Repair Center in Heath, Ohio. The role focuses on designing, developing, testing, and sustaining electrical, electronic, and electro-mechanical products and test equipment/software for strategic deterrence and military programs, while also reviewing test data, directing repairs, improving processes, and solving technical problems.

Responsibilities

  • Contributes to development and deployment of automated test equipment for lab and factory automation, including data processing and control algorithm development
  • Works in small agile teams composed of diverse engineering skills
  • Use your talents to tackle complex problems on a variety of programs
  • Responsible for developing technical products, plans, documentation, and briefings supporting program requirements

Qualification

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher
  • 1+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
  • 1+ years of programming experience
  • 1+ years' experience programming in C, C++ or Ada
  • This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
  • An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required
  • To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required
  • Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status

Preferred

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science and 2+ years of related work experience OR Bachelor's Degree and 6+ years of directly related work experience OR 10+ years of related, relevant experience
  • Experience incorporating modifications to legacy test equipment systems that have limited documentation
  • Experience programming in C#
  • Experience with Networking and Database
  • Experience programming in Labview
  • Experience with Microsoft Programming
  • Experience with Data Analytics
