Northrop Grumman is a leader in technological advancements, seeking an Associate Software Engineer to join their Aurora Software and Digital Engineering department. The role involves designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging applications software and systems, while collaborating with equipment designers and hardware engineers.
Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions.
Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software.
Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions; designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems.
Ensures software standards are met.
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in science or STEM related field with 0 years of relative experience
Knowledge of C, C++, and Python
Knowledge of databases
Knowledge of Linux and Windows Environments
Knowledge of engineering analysis and management
Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance (Not required to start)
Preferred
Experience with MATLAB
Experience with SolidWorks
