Textron, through its Bell division, is at the forefront of aviation innovation, developing advanced systems for the Army and next-generation aircraft. They are seeking a CAD PLM Engineer to support technical development and end-user support for their Product Lifecycle Management tools, ensuring effective product definition and design processes.
Provide end user mentoring, troubleshooting, and problem resolution
Work in collaboration with IT for troubleshooting and resolving complex issues
Resolve escalated application issues and engage 3rd party support when necessary
Work with the business to document business goals, recommend and implement solutions to meet those goals
Provide training to users on the tool sets when needed
Communicate with internal and external team members to ensure project alignment and success
Support solution implementation and any tasks necessary to complete project deliverables including:
1. Document and test on the PLM platform
2. Develop methods and best practices for Bell Related to CATIA, FELMIA, ENVOVIA and SIMULIA tool set to assist the design/manufacturing teams from conceptual design through finished components
3. Develop and support Policy and Procedure for Bell’s CATIA/DELMIA/ENOVIA/SIMULIA process methodologies
Support the primary training instructor by assisting with training delivery and serve as the backup facilitator, leading training sessions during their absence
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required
At least 2 years of aerospace design or transferable CAD/CAM PLM engineering related experience
Highly proficient in the CATIA tool sets preferably in CATIA V6 and/or 3DExperience
Proficiency in ENOVIA and/or 3DExperience Web
Skilled in identifying and resolving issues
Must have the ability to communicate efficiently and effectively to coordinate and lead design activities and report status to management
Must be able to build and maintain effective relationships with customers, internal and external suppliers, as well as horizontal integration across the other teams to complete tasks
Preferred
Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering degrees preferred
Familiarity with aerospace industry practices/regulations preferred
Experience in creating training materials and developing clear process documentation preferred
