The Development Infrastructure Engineer will support the design and delivery of civil engineering infrastructure projects across Ireland and the U.K., including drainage, flood risk, highways, and water infrastructure, while developing technical skills toward Chartered Engineer status.

Responsibilities

Assist with the design of storm and foul drainage networks for residential, commercial, and industrial developments
Support flood risk assessments, site inspections, and the preparation of technical reports
Prepare design drawings in 2D and 3D and work alongside CAD technicians as part of project teams
Help manage project correspondence and support project cost and programme tracking
Work closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams under the guidance of senior engineers

Qualification

Required

Degree-qualified Civil Engineer, working towards Chartered Engineer status
Experience or interest in drainage networks, SuDS, pumping stations, water distribution, and flow control systems
Familiarity with design tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, and drainage modelling software (e.g. WinDes or MicroDrainage)
Basic understanding of road and pavement design, flood risk, and relevant approval processes (e.g. Section 50)
