They are seeking a Diagnostic Software Engineer to develop and integrate diagnostics software solutions while collaborating with hardware and firmware teams to enhance testing and issue resolution.
Develop/Design/Integrate diagnostics software solutions for servers, storage, and AI accelerator platforms.
Identify automated testing and efficient issue resolution working in collaboration with hardware and firmware teams.
Develops software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, and studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues with cross-functional teams.
Evaluate and adopt new tools and technologies to enhance diagnostics.
Integrate diagnostics with production and lab environments.
Prepares document diagnostic procedures, tools and technical guides
Develop automation tools and scripts for testing and validation.
Design and implement diagnostic software for hardware platforms.
Protects operations by keeping information confidential.
Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues.

Qualification

Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline.
1+ years of professional software development experience.
Proficiency in Shell Script, Python, or C++.
Strong Linux environment usage (Ubuntu preferred).
Application architecture and design patterns.
Knowledge of professional software engineering and best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
Preferred
Experience serving as technical lead throughout the full software development lifecycle, from conception, architecture definition, detailed design, scoping, planning, implementation, testing to documentation, delivery and maintenance
