Responsibilities

Monitor the trading system in real-time for performance and platform integrity
Assist clients with their selection and usage of algorithms
Review and assess performance of execution algorithms
Develop relationships with internal and external traders
Provide first line support to all algorithmic trading including during extended hours trading
Communicate performance outliers, product changes, and potential algo issues with internal and external clients on a daily basis
Perform ongoing execution analysis and apply that in a client service capacity to assist clients with optimal use of algorithms

Qualification

Required

Develop a strong knowledge of equity trading algorithms and systems.
Provide first line support to all algorithmic trading including during extended hours trading.
Communicate performance outliers, product changes, and potential algo issues with internal and external clients on a daily basis.
Perform ongoing execution analysis and apply that in a client service capacity to assist clients with optimal use of algorithms.
Knowledge of equity markets and trade processing.
Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
Ability to follow a technical, 'data driven' approach as part of day-to-day duties.
Ability to network and quickly develop working relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients.
Ability to understand technical concepts and quickly gain proficiency.
Strong teamwork, written and verbal communication skills.
Minimum Required: Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
Minimum Required: 0-3 years of trading or supporting US equity trading desk.
Minimum required: FINRA Series 7.
Proficient with Fidessa Order Management System.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
