Northrop Grumman is an aerospace, defense and security company that provides training and satellite ground network communications software. They are seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to develop next generation solutions for missile weapon systems, requiring collaboration with various teams and adherence to security architecture designs.
Develop and implement software for embedded devices and systems based on requirements.
Design, develop, code, test and debug system software.
Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle activities in an agile environment.
Software requirements verification and validation.
Qualification
Required
Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM related field with 2 years Computer Engineering or Software Engineering experience, or Master’s with 0 years Computer Engineering or Software Engineering.
Self-starters and able to efficiently operate in a team environment.
Experience with one or more Software languages/technologies: C/C++, Java, Python, C#.
Experience with full software lifecycle: specification, design, implementation, integration, debug, and maintenance are required.
A year or more of experience with working in an Agile team.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance, United States citizenship is a prerequisite.
Preferred
Experience with software version control tools such as Git.
Experience in embedded systems design with preemptive, multitasking real-time operating systems.
Experience with embedded software such as VxWorks.
Experience using Atlassian Tool Suite: JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, SonarQube.
Experience with VxWorks.
Active Secret Clearance.
