Northrop Grumman is a leading aerospace and defense technology company seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join their software team in Camarillo, CA. The role involves developing embedded real-time system software, collaborating with customers, and participating in peer reviews and technical meetings.
Work in an Agile environment as part of a scrum team
Resolve software and system defects
Collaborate with our customer, internal NGC sites and disciplines
Participate and contribute to peer reviews, critical milestone reviews, and technical inter-change meetings
Use project dependent tools including: Rational Clear Case, ClearQuest, DOORS Git, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence Ada, C/C++, C#, Python Green Hills Integrity RTOS, Windows, and Linux
Qualification
Required
BS degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with 2 years of experience, or MS degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with 1 years of experience
Experience with a higher order language such as Ada, C/C++, C#
Knowledge of object-oriented software development
Ability to function as a member of an integrated team
Experience with version control systems (e.g. git, Bitbucket, ClearCase, etc.)
US Citizenship required
Current DoD Secret Clearance or higher

Strong verbal communication and customer service skills
Strong collaborative mindset
Experience working full software life cycle experience on large scale formal DoD program
Experience programming with Ada language
Experience programming with C++ language
Experience with real-time embedded software development
Experience working in an Agile environment
