Engineer, Activation Platform

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for planning and designing new software and web applications.
  • Edits new and existing applications.
  • Implements, testing and debugging defined software components.
  • Documents all development activity.
  • Works with moderate guidance in own area of knowledge.
  • Involved in end-to-end software development lifecycle of the product.
  • Analyze and understand requirements, work with development leads and implement the change using Java, Python, AWS Cloud services or equivalent public or private cloud.
  • Prepare the necessary unit tests and integration tests and test the change in development environment.
  • Involved in E2E test process with clients and address any issues arising from the E2E test.
  • Prepare the change to be deployed to production environment.
  • Document release notes, change summary.
  • Deploy the changes in production environment in a controlled release way, using concourse or GitHub actions.
  • Do any necessary production support, when issues arise in the product in production environment.
  • Respond to system generated alerts on platform and provide solution to issues.
  • Work in a collaborative environment with teams within the organization and outside the organization with engineers, product and E2E testing teams.
  • Weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Qualification

Required

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship for employment now or in the future.
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2-5 Years of relevant work experience
  • Involved in end-to-end software development lifecycle of the product.
