They are seeking a Windows Engineer to assist with data center design and documentation, develop engineering and automated deployments, and collaborate with engineers in troubleshooting and implementing engineering changes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop engineering and automated deployments for datacenter system configurations.
  • Executing engineering projects on schedule.
  • Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot and redline documented procedures.
  • Implement engineering changes to the system as required
  • Responsible for integrating and testing software and/or hardware systems in complex IT systems.
  • Work closely with Engineers and Technicians in a lab environment.
  • Good planning, coordination, and documentation skills are required.

Qualification

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university and 2 years of STEM related engineering experience; 0 Years with a Masters
  • Experience with Windows/LINUX Server and Desktop deployment and maintenance
  • Experience with Active Directory, DNS, and GPO configuration and deployment
  • Experience in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, Visual Basic, .Net
  • Experience deploying in virtualized environments (VMWare and Hyper-V)
  • Infrastructure automation experience with automation tool such as Ansible, Puppet, Terraform, etc
  • Basic infrastructure knowledge in Backup/Storage and Network technologies
  • Active DoD Secret or Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain (and maintain) special program access (PAR) prior to commencement of employment

Preferred

  • Experience with Active Directory Federation Services
  • Experience with Cloud Platforms such as AWS and Azure
  • Familiar with Agile methodology
  • Familiar with version control, GIT experience preferred
  • Ability to author and maintain technical installation, configuration, and update documentation
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management
