Engineering Leadership Development Program - Embedded Software

Responsibilities

  • The ELDP consists of three, onsite one-year rotations; each with increasing responsibility
  • ELDP participants are also exposed to a variety of networking opportunities and strategic project initiatives
  • A mentor is assigned to each ELDP participant to expose them to diverse and challenging experiences, while providing guidance in career development and off-program placement
  • The program seeks to facilitate the growth of an individual's leadership skills through an annual, week-long leadership development conference (LDC)
  • Participants can also expect to complete a technical and leadership curriculum during the program which will provide a holistic career development experience through a mix of in-person and virtual trainings
  • You’ll have the opportunity to experience assignments in several operational functions, business areas, and product groups nationwide

Qualification

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Software/Computer Engineering
  • Demonstrated collaboration and leadership abilities in academic and non-academic pursuits
  • Internship/Co-Op or project experience in embedded software/systems
  • Relocate during the rotational program at least once ensuring experience at a minimum of two of our facilities
  • Start at Sterling Heights, MI or Minneapolis, MN locations, with subsequent rotational possibilities including York, PA and Louisville, KY
  • Start your technical master's degree during the program with completion two years from the end of the program
  • Depending on your rotations, some may be required to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance
