Jacobs is a company focused on solving critical problems for thriving cities and environments. They are seeking an Entry-Level Software Engineer to assist with software and systems engineering tasks, contributing to design, implementation, and support of software for various facilities.
Assist with software, systems, and network engineering tasks
Contribute to the requirements, design, implementation, integration, and support of software and associated documentation for new, upgraded, and existing facilities
Navigate fluid functional requirements throughout the project’s life cycle
Play a crucial part in configuration management, product build, deployment, and seamless integration of work items from remote development teams
Apply engineering principles to solve complex problems through sound and creative engineering
Seek feedback while applying internal or industry best practices to improve technical solutions
Demonstrate skill in time management as you complete software projects in a cooperative team environment
Be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks
Work with a multi-discipline, highly interactive team to establish to meet the needs of clients
Take ownership of the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of the work assigned
Qualification
Required
Degree in Software or Computer Engineering, Computer Science or another closely related field
