The company is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join their Loan Closing Advisor and Loan Quality Advisor product team, where the role involves designing, developing, and enhancing software solutions in an Agile environment.
Collaborate to design, develop, and enhance high quality software solutions that directly support Freddie Mac's core businesses
Work closely with project teams and stakeholders to understand user needs, shape system requirements, and create applications that deliver top tier performance, scalability, and efficiency
Build new features and evaluate defects, investigate the causes, and implement smart, timely fixes to keep production systems running smoothly
Ensure clear communication around incidents and optimize existing applications through well designed enhancements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline; or equivalent experience preferred
At least 1-3 years of full-time experience in software development including design, coding, testing, and support
Programming Languages (Required): Java
Demonstrated analytical ability and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
Organized, ability to meet deadlines, self-driven, motivated

Query Language (Preferred): NoSQL (MongoDB), SQL (RDBMS)
Versioning Control (Preferred): Bitbucket, GIT
Tools (Preferred): Eclipse, IntelliJ, VSCode

Methodologies (Preferred): DevOps, Agile Development
Knowledge of Agile software development project methodologies preferred
Experience with popular business tools (Windows, Office Professional, Visio, SharePoint, etc.)
