Responsibilities

  • Design and Develop: Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications across the full stack (front-end and back-end)
  • Deliver Features: Collaborate with product managers, designers, and senior developers to deliver features that align with business and user needs
  • Participation / Sprint Reviews: Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups and sprint reviews
  • Write Code: Write clean, maintainable code and contribute to code reviews
  • Troubleshoot: Resolve technical issues, escalating complex challenges to senior experts or 'Chapters' as needed
  • Alignment: Document functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, and use cases to ensure clarity and alignment with project goals
  • Migration Support: And integration of applications across data centers and cloud environments, as relevant to ongoing IT RDI initiatives

Qualification

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Proficiency in (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js)
  • Familiarity with back-end languages and frameworks (Node.js, Python, Java, or similar)
  • Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs, web services, and version control (Git)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies
  • Ability to work collaboratively in distributed, cross-functional teams
  • Willingness to work in a product-centric structure, with a focus on ownership and accountability for delivered features
  • Openness to cross-team collaboration and sharing best practices, avoiding siloed development
  • Flexibility to support projects across different locations (e.g., Lexington, AMD, BLR), as hiring and project needs evolve
  • Commitment to accurate documentation of requirements and user stories, ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations
  • Awareness of resource management practices, including the ability to adapt to shifting project priorities and team assignments

Preferred

  • Exposure to (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and DevOps practices
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
  • Participation in open-source projects or relevant internships
  • Effective communication and teamwork
  • Ability to adapt and willingness to take on new challenges
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability
