The IT Associate Programmer Analyst supports the analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise business applications while collaborating with developers, business analysts, project teams, and stakeholders. The role also contributes to systems integration, user acceptance testing, issue resolution, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
This position reports to the Manager IT Business Applications and has no direct or indirect reports
This role requires up to 15% travel (internationally/domestically), including overnight stays
Apply Agile, Waterfall or other similar application lifecycle methodology to develop solutions
Support analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and maintenance of business applications
Participate in requirements gathering, documentation and solution design activities
Develop, maintain and troubleshoot application components under supervision
Assist with unit, integration and user acceptance testing activities
Support application deployments and production issue resolution
Create and maintain technical documentation and support materials
Collaborate with business users and project teams to improve processes and applications
Follow development standards, security requirements and change management processes
Continuously learn new technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, MIS, Software Engineering or related field
1+ years of relevant experience including internships, co-ops or academic projects
Foundational knowledge of software development, lifecycle methodologies, databases and application support
Experience through coursework, internships, academic projects or professional work using one or more technologies such as C#, .NET, VB.NET, Python, JavaScript, SQL, Angular, React, Asp.Net, HTML/CSS or similar technologies
Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and proficient in English (written and verbal)
Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, MIS or related field from an accredited university
High level of initiative and self-motivation
RPA (MS Power Automate) and Power Apps experience
Understanding of IOT and GPS Trackers platforms
SharePoint portal designing and maintenance experience
CPI and BTP Integration/EDI programming
Understanding of Design Engineering solutions and products like AutoCAD/Inventor
Knowledge of ERP systems, reporting solutions or enterprise business applications
Preferred
Familiarity with GitHub, Azure DevOps or similar source control tools
Exposure to modern web development and component-based user interface frameworks
Demonstrated interest in leveraging AI-assisted development tools through academic, internship, or personal projects
Experience using tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar AI coding assistants to improve Productivity, code quality, and technical learning is a plus
Service desk or any similar request management system experience
Must be team and result oriented
