The Level 2 Software Engineer will support the FORGE C2 Mission Management team in translating a legacy product into a modern solution, working in an agile team to design, develop, maintain, and test the Mission Management codebase.
Design, develop, maintain, and test the Mission Management codebase
Interact across agile teams to ensure interface compatibility
Coordinate with the product owner, scrum master, and product manager to plan user stories and ensure successful completion of the tasks
Work through technical challenges to implement legacy capabilities in a modern architecture
Qualification
Required
Active Secret Clearance
Experience in software design and development
Java programming experience in a professional environment
Linux OS background/Experience developing in a Linux environment
1+ years of related experience
BS degree
Preferred
Previous experience with mission management
Demonstrated understanding of agile development within a scrum team
Mathematics background
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc
