They are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer I to manage and support data integration platforms, ensuring seamless file transfers and maintaining critical systems. The role involves both technical execution and strategic input to enhance infrastructure capabilities and align them with business needs.
Responsible for performing analysis, design, and implementation of infrastructure components across various domains (which may include mainframe systems, collaboration tools, compute resources, storage solutions, or other specialized areas) with a high degree of accuracy.
Define and implement technical requirements for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and operational support using appropriate automation methodologies.
Enhance infrastructure deployment workflows to improve system reliability, resource utilization, and operational efficiency while resolving infrastructure issues of intermediate complexity.
Configure and optimize physical, virtualized, and cloud-based infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and operational resilience across multiple technology domains.
Implement and maintain infrastructure monitoring, capacity planning, and incident response procedures while ensuring adherence to security protocols and compliance requirements.
Collaborate with software, platform, and operations teams to align infrastructure capabilities with application requirements and business needs.
Provide technical guidance to Associate and Sr Associate Infrastructure Engineers while contributing to infrastructure standards and best practices.
Evaluate new infrastructure technologies and methodologies to identify opportunities for operational improvements and technology modernization.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualification
Required
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, related STEM field, or its equivalent in work experience plus 2 years of infrastructure engineering experience.
Three (3) years of infrastructure engineering/systems administration experience preferred.
Proven expertise in that specific area with ability to work across related systems.
Demonstrated track record of infrastructure expertise including the ability to understand system concepts necessary to do the job effectively.
Strong communication skills that enable clear, concise interactions with team members and stakeholders.
Intermediate leadership capabilities with a proven track record of self-motivation and initiative.
Intermediate delivery skills including the ability to deliver infrastructure work at a steady, predictable pace to achieve commitments.
Proven problem-solving skills including infrastructure debugging abilities.
