Responsibilities

  • Furnish quality first technical support, independent of Engineering, through early intervention and understanding of design requirements
  • Support various Integrated Product Teams (IPT), to include System Test, through integration and involvement at the lowest to highest levels
  • Confirm Program and IPT objectives are being met through understanding task performance that is validated by the team lead
  • Analyze data, execute review processes, inspect, test and evaluate product, to include Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) requirements
  • Execute engagement skills required to support Supplier Management Teams, Subcontract Administrators, Supplier Quality, Quality Field Engineers, Responsible Engineers (RE), Test Engineers, Safety Engineers, Materials and Process Engineers, and Reliability Engineers to verify compliance to quality standards and contractual requirements as they pertain to the equipment being procured
  • Attend gateway events such as Technical Interchange Meeting (TIM), Integrated Review Board (IRB), Test Readiness Review (TRR), Critical Design Review (CDR), etc. on an as required basis
  • Participate in audits to identify quality related deficiencies, evaluate non-conformances, and negative performance trends and failures; assist in root cause and corrective actions necessary to prevent a future reoccurrence
  • Produce Daily /weekly metrics and information for the team analysis and decision point development
  • Manage multiple tasks and work closely with the IPT teams and design group(s)
  • Utilize strong computer skills with a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Qualification

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline with 2 years experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, Change Management or Program Integration
  • Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance
  • General understanding of adherence to AS9100 standards
  • Understand Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) – Agile, Lean Six Sigma and Root Cause Analysis (RCCA) processes

Preferred

  • Aerospace, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering background
  • Experience performing design reviews using modeling tools, such as NX
  • Requirements knowledge and understanding: Supplier Data Requirements List (SDRL), Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL), Technical Review Board (TRB)
  • Product Design Review – Product Definition Package (PDP), Technical Data Package (TDP), First Article Inspection (FAI)
  • Non-conforming material - Material Review Board (MRB) Disposition
  • Process Improvement - RCCA Facilitation support
