They are seeking a Network Operations Infrastructure Engineer Associate to support enterprise network transport operations, focusing on the installation, configuration, and performance analysis of transport network technologies.
Install, configure, and analyze performance of transport network technologies.
Operate and maintain transport networks including Fiber Optic Cable, DWDM, Ciena, Nokia, Ribbon, Icons, Microwave (Aviat), and P25 radio systems.
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex network issues and projects.
Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to provide continuous support.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless integration of transport network solutions.
Develop and maintain documentation for network configurations and procedures.
Monitor network performance metrics and implement improvements.
Assist in planning and executing network upgrades and expansions.
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science, telecommunications, engineering, or related technical field is required.
No additional experience is required for Infrastructure Engineer Associate (SG5).
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field is required for Infrastructure Engineer (SG6).
2 years of relevant work experience is required for Infrastructure Engineer (SG6).
An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered.
Preferred
At least two years of direct support experience in Transport Operations within a large enterprise environment, preferably in the utility or energy sector.
Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ITIL processes is a plus.
Experience with various transport networks and network monitoring and management tools.
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
